Finance minister promises unchanging taxation for next 6 years

MOSCOW, Dec 24 (PRIME) – Large Russian businesses presented 15.3 trillion rubles of new investment projects to Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, who promised that tax conditions will not change in the next six years, Siluanov’s press secretary Andrei Lavrov told reporters on Monday.

“The combined amount of projects presented by the businesses stands at 15.3 trillion rubles, of which own funds of investors account for at least 3 trillion rubles,” he said.

Siluanov said that the government plans to approve a law on protection and support of capital investment, which would become a platform for creation of conditions for investment projects and include guarantees of permanence of regulatory conditions, Lavrov said.

Besides that, Siluanov and the businesses discussed creation of mechanisms necessary for new investment projects, including stimulation through taxation, which should improve and expand investment programs, he said.

Siluanov will hold the next meeting with representatives of businesses in January 2019, Lavrov added.
